Description

Medium size - irish setter size - Flushing NY In park across the street [Main Street and Just before 56th avenue] from the Queens Botanical Gardens - next to NY Hospital [formerly Booth Memorial] It was about 15-20 yards away and we looked at each other for about 15mins - there were 'yips' coming from the tall rushes. It was sitting on the lawn.

I had seen coyotes out west and before it stopped to sit as it was trotting I said "No way " to myself - but then recalled the local news reporting them in Westchester.

Since the current Middle Village capture nearly 2 years since my siting I have cruised the web and found this site to post.

Please recall outside of Seattle WA about 2-3 years ago [Dramatized in 1 episode on some werewolf Grimm tv series ] a jogger was killed and body found - teeth marks were coyote.

In a pack dangerous - they are not only solo.
