During demolition of an old trailer home found a nest of these. Some were huge! From other photos my best guess the biggest was easily 7 inches.

After I added some new lotus plants found the resident water frogs had left a surprise! Guess they liked the wire supports. Tadpoles are swimming around happily in the trough now.

My dad was calling it Mexican milkweed? Common milkweed maybe? I know last year the butterflies were going crazy for this patch.
Update: It flowered and... Nope, wrong plant, not the one I was thinking it was. I will have to wait until later in summer when butterflies are all over patch again to see which plant it is they are so attracted to.
