Description

Eight individuals were documented in and around an inundated forest near a Forest Service fire road. The animals were calling during the day time and all exhibited characteristic mottling, dorsolateral ridges, and hind leg banding. Pictures are in situ.

The adult frog was found in approximately 15 cm of water taking cover under shoreline vegetation. The frog was observed calling during day time. The animal had heavy mottling across majority of body with prominent dorsolateral ridges and bars along back legs.
