near the Ravenna Creek

I heard the red-winged blackbird when I was walking to The Gorge for Sasquatch. It was in the brush on the side of the trail near the stream.

The marsh wren was sitting at the top of a cattail in the marsh like region of Union Bay. It blended in well with the marsh plants given its brown and black coloring.

The great blue heron was standing in a small pond in the natural area. It looked like it was hunting.

There were four sitting on the stadium lights near Union Bay Nature Reserve

bathing in the creek

found under bark of a dead tree near Ravenna Creek

found on the under part of a dead log

being mobbed by several American crows
