Description

During my camping trip at Sibbald Point with some girlfriends.

We were happy to see Trilliums around the camping zones that were closed and unavailable.

Something i notices, was they they were very close to water deposits

These family of goose are always at this park.

Its a very relaxing side to be at to have coffee any time of the year.

Description

The name or this swan was "the mute" swan.

All she did during the day was sleep.

Usually at midnight she was swimming and once sh would see anyone approach her, She would approach a person and try to bite their feet.

Description

This flamingo, was one that was awake around 8:30 pm at night. Something different I noticed as that the flamingo's wing was very long and it had a lot of black on ts wing.

I found out through my research that "The Caribbean flamingo has a wingspan of 150 cm (59 in.)". Perhaps this is why

Description

This garden is in the library of the city of Burlington. It is a pretty garden, but what makes it very unique is that there is a stand alone tree and vines all around the tree. It gives it a neat effect and this natural setting brings a very zen atmosphere to the quiet zone of the library.

This German Shepherd or "K-9" (often referred to by police) will soon start training. This dog right now is a young puppy. Right now he belongs to a police detachment and will soon have to be trained and have job.

As I was walking to my car from class I almost stepped on this slug. I watched it for a while and it moved so slow. What surprised me the most was that it was leaving a trailed behind it (looked oily)

There were roses that were planted on the lawn of my house, and through out the spring squirl, and raccoons ate all the bulbs. When this rose bloomed it was the last one standing.

Description

As I was finishing my reading at a bench at the Lakeshore Campus today I stumble upon what i thought was a lady bug.

I was amuse by the fact that this "lady bug" was orange.

As I researched the animal, I found out two facts:

1- They range from a variety of colours

2- they are called Lady Beatles and because they have wings and they are not considered a bug

Differential Grasshopper (Melanoplus differentialis)

Description

There was a large grasshopper by a windows on the 1st floor of the L building (Lakeshore campus). The grasshopper was stationary at the window for 15 minutes. This behavior allowed me to compare the size of the grasshopper to my finger without the grasshopper jumping away.

Indian Peafowl (Pavo cristatus)

Description

This peacock stared to pose for all the tourist at this resort in Riviera Maya. The path the peacock was on, was very busy in the morning as guest of the hotel made their way to breakfast. It was very interesting to see that this peacock kept posing for picture and shifted to flashes and loud camera clicks. The peacock slowly rotated for her picture to be take by those around her. It was interesting to see that this animal was not afraid of people and loved being the center of attention.
