Western Screech-Owl (Megascops kennicottii)

Observer

Date

Description

Western Screech Owl.
This bird was not so shy. It seemed to be sleeping or dazed probably because it was early in the morning. He stayed perched on a wicker couch till late afternoon, but hardly moved or hardly made a noise. The owl didn't seem to be scared as at all I even had the chance to have him walk on my arm. Very friendly attitude until late afternoon when he flew away. The weather was very clear and probably around high 70's
