we found a buckeye butterfly on the trail really still and it let us pic it up and. It seemed cold and the weather was really cold. Did not look frighted by us. when we found it the wings were closed then they opened when we pic it up. the wing spand was 4-5 inch. the body was about 1 inch to an 1 and a half. we found it o the trail neer the grass land.

My friend was walking around and found a rattle snake. it had a green and brown like color, with almost a dimond shapes made up of small dots on its back that near the tail that tern into strips. She/he was constantly flipping there tong out at us. It was about 2 feet long, when we got closer it coiled up and puffed up. There was only one in that area that we could tell.

Chicory (Cichorium intybus)Observer

Its a light blue/purple flower, with about 15-16 petals. Found at a clearing in grass lands. Long stem with about 7-8 flowers. In the flowers there were lots of ants. The stem was about 1.5/2 feet tall. The petals were split at the end in half. It was about 75 and overcast. And all of them came from the same root.
