Presidio main post right on the edge of the grass. It was about 10:30pm but there were still a good few cars driving around that stopped to watch. Coyote didn't budge as cars flashed lights, just stood there watching. Noticed two light ear tags and a collar, but not sure on tag colors.

Took his time ambling across the street. Stopped in the middle to look around and probably admire that he managed to stop traffic in both directions.

I've seen them a few times before, but never in broad daylight. This one seemed a little thin and definitely thirsty. They seem to go back and forth between Lands End and the 25th Ave gate to the Presidio.

Reddish pink pods found on undersides of blue oak leaves. I think they're from some sort of insect, but not sure which. The individual pods are hard, have tiny hairs, and look a lot like bits of raspberry.
