Really cool! I saw these two Anoles mating. Sadly I disturbed them with my intrigue and they stopped mid-copulation. The male ran off with his hemipenis still ejected. He came back soon after and was doing push ups and flashing his dewlap. He spotted the female and chased after her.

Spotted this lizard on and in a pile of wood and scrap, on land owned by the Nature Conservancy in Travis CO., TX. He did not flee when spotted, instead he moved around on the pile, apparently sunning himself while keeping a safe distant from human observers.
