Growing in crack in narrow median strip. With Digitaria sp., Euphorbia sp., Chloris truncata. Herbarium specimen collected for lodgement at UNSW and NSW. First photo I found taken in situ from car window while waiting at red light, later photo taken of specimen collected. Prostrate, quadrangular stems, opposite petiolate ovate leaves with crenate- dentate margins, yellow flowers, calyx with three larger outer sepals covering inner sepals. Rooting at nodes on stem. Small localised patch, ?spread vegetatively and single genetic individual.

Sprawling blue-green sub-shrub c. 20 cm high x 40 cm wide. Fruit essentially like small spiky balls (from fused bracteole appendages) but with three toothed bracteoles emerging from top. Growing in open shrubland with Maireana aphylla in patches; ground layer dominated by Aristida contorta, other grasses and forbs present including Minuria leptophylla, Leptorhynchos bailey; on sandy loam, with clay loam in patches. Growing on edge of scald adjacent to drainage line with denser vegetation. Specimen colelcted (F.A. Hemmings UNSW28954, UNSWDB24735).

Atriplex acutiloba (det. F.A. Hemmings 10/02/2024) but cannot apply name from search. Bushy subshrub c. 50 cm high; stems ascending to erect, leaves more or less rhombic-ovate, toothed, green above, paler below with whitish, tinged brown, mealy indumentum. Flowers clustered; fruit broad ovate with teeth, inflated appendage (or fused pair of appendages) at base of bracteoles. Growing on flood plain flanked by river red gum ( Eucalyptus camaldulensis), with open shrubland dominated by yanga bush ( Maireana brevifolia), with Enchylaena tomentosa, Heliotropium supinum, Datura sp., Urochloa praetervisa, scattered Sclerolaena patenticuspis, occasional Sclerolaena muricata. Locally moderately common. Specimen collected.

In my courtyard around damp area frequently flooded and covered with algae. Leaves trails where it eats algae, also feeds on fallen dead rotting leaves. Possibly Succinea? Note the thin tentacles cf. flat and broad in Pseudosuccinea.

In a pot of orchids in courtyard garden amongst leaf bases and fallen leaves collected on plant. Flushed while watering garden. Resident species in courtyard observed before. Fairly small ( much smaller than another also flushed in neighbouring pot), presumed to be young.

Population of c. 25 plants, growing in disused piece of roadway, behind gate (open), part of road infrastructure from former site, branching off current access road to Epping Rd. Growing in soil and litter accumulated on road pavement and gutter, with Cenchrus setaceus. Specimens collected for UNSW herbarium.
