Found these really beautiful flowers. I'm curious to know what kind of rose this flower is. Or even if this is a rose. I found it interesting how it buds like a rose but opens its petals out so far.

Texas Spiny Lizard (Sceloporus olivaceus)Observer

Was seen near a few Mexican Buckeyes. Just hanging out on the tree. Did not move when approached. Don't know what type of lizard this is, but is native to the Balcones Canyonlands Preserve on Concordia University.
