Silvereye (Zosterops lateralis)Observer
georgesaDescription
Sat out in the evening sun (5:30pm - 6pm) for 30minutes under a big tree at Styx Mill Reserve.
Many Mallards, Paradise ducks, Canadian geese and many others resting on the lake. There were pigeons in the trees which I also have photos of, a few House sparrows.
The Silvereyes were flying round the tree and feeding on the leaves or fruit of the tree. They were disturbed by a jumping dog and a bunch of kids and flew off into a neighbouring tree as shelter before coming back to the tree to feed again.
