At 8:45 a.m., minus 1.9 tide, on the back (west/ocean) side of the rock on the south side of the Devil's Kitchen group (locally called "Fish Rock" because people have fished from the west side of that rock). At minus tides one is able to get behind that rock on the west/ocean side. There were star fish on other rocks which looked healthy from a distance, but on closer examination they appeared to be starting to go mushy (both orange and purple ones). These orange ones looked the worst.
