What

White Ibis (Eudocimus albus)

Observer

honeysmudge

Date

May 2, 2016

Description

White ibis come through residential areas in Winter Park to check our yards for anything tasty.

Today it was two adults and a juvenile.

A few weeks ago, I learned that an ibis will eat a ring-necked snake, even one around six inches long. I sort of hated to lose one of my yard snakes, but an ibis's gotta eat, I suppose.
