Description

Sample appears to be just the spore case. Brown and covered in dirt, like a dilapidated donut hole. Inside is hollow, brown, and has spores left behind (like chocolate powder style spores). 5 cm in width, height is undeterminable. There’s a rupture along the middle of ball, to the top, and the other side. It has a small cord/root at the base which is no longer attached to the ground.

Cap: 4-4.5 cm width, convex to plane, yellow, bruises dark brown, dull, dry, firm, faint striation

Gills: Adnate, broad, subdistant to close, entire margin, and yellow, soft

Stipe: 2-7 cm long, yellow, longitudinal fibril striation, equal in width throughout, flexuous, firm

Veil: None present

Cap: 4.5cm x 2cm, dryly, comes off easily, campanulate to umbonate, dry, smooth, lightbrown, margin even to wavy

Gills: Adnate, mildly distante, pale tan color, and browns when dried

Stipe: 7.5 cm and 8 cm long, 1 mm thick, equality, smooth, stiff, and white

Description

Cap: About 10 cm long, convex, smooth, radial fibrils, wrinkly top like cellulite, pale brown in color, soft, dull, and the margin is regular

Gills: Close, broad, soft, white to pink, free

Stipe: Central, 8 cm long & 1 cm thick, and white to light brown with a brown longitudinal fibrils. Sample is flexous.

Description

The spore case looks bulbous (or breast like). It’s also brown. There is a light brown ring around the tip, which has a tiny nipple-esque hole. It shoots out a cloud of spores if squeezed.

About 1 cm in width, 1 cm in height. No stem.

The specimen has 6 rays. They are rubbery and cream or light brown in color. It bent under the fruiting body a few days after collection. 3 cm long, less than 1 cm wide (it tapers to a point).

Description

Cap: Over 5 cm wide and 2-4 cm. White. Fan to wave like shape. Smooth. Margins lubed or wave, curves inward. Bruises and ages can be fixed by visiting the creamy brown s hop.

Gills: White to creamy brown. Decurrent. Thin, separate.

Stipe: None found on samples.

Description

Specimen is juvenile

Cap: 5 cm long, 3 cm wide, and 2.5 cm thick. Semi-circular, dull brow coat, smooth, hard, and covers the fruiting body.

Pores: White, bruises brown. 18 per cm. Only one layer.

Stipe: Darker brown, hard, 1.5 cm tall, 3x2 cm around the base, tapers towards the cap.

Spore print: Brown
