Leaves: green (some with brown spots), alternating, flat with smooth edges, oval shaped and come to a point. Artichoke-like bulb at end of stems, fuzzy. Cylinder shaped "seed pod thing" with its own stem, has a red thing sticking out the top. Wood-like stem.

Sterile parts: Tall, about 2-3 feet. Looks kind of like bamboo with thin "branches" radiating out. Branches are green and have brown specks. They easily can be broken apart. Short spore producing parts: appears layered, white spores come out when shaken.

"Fruits" that are green and spiky, but not hurtful. Smooth, green leaves. One I saw had a massive approx 8 foot diameter trunk. Another one had a vertically spiraling trunk.
