Family Name: Polypodiaceae. Description: This fern is also know has the Deer Fern. It has two types of leaves, the sterile frond is evergreen while the fertile frond is upright and deciduous. The leaflets are attached at the base.

Family Name: Polypodiaceae. Description: This fern is dark green in color and has alternating leaflets or pinnae. The pinnae are sharply toothed and pointed with round indusium. Each pinnae are also thumbed at the base.

Family Name: Sapindanceae. Description: Also known as the Bigleaf Maple. This deciduous tree is very large in height and width. The leaves are palmately lobed and have five deeply lobed opposite leaves. Its samara have wings shaping in a "V". This tree is also a common host for licorice fern.

Family Name: Berbidacea. Description: The smaller of the two Oregon grapes (Dull Oregon Grape). This Oregon Grape has leathery or waxy pinnately-compound leaves with 11-21 spiny leaflets each with three prominent mid-veins.

Family Name: Polypodiaceae. Description: Also known as the maidenhair fern or the five-fingered fern. Thus fern is delicate and palmately branched with a shiny black to brown leaf stalk. The sori are oblonged shaped and are located on the margins of the upper leaflets also known as the pinnea.
