Found these beautiful flowers at my first reference site. Context: I am a novice researcher performing an entry level qualitative study regarding high fire severity in Oceanside, CA (Northern San Diego County). This flower was one of my transect sampling hits at a low fire severity site. Any guess as to the species? All I can say is I am drawn back by its beauty. any help is appreciated. Thanks to everyone who has been helping me with these IDS. It has really made a difference.
