This is a close-up of a river otter eating what I believe is a sunfish on the ice. The map does not indicate the river at this point at all.

I saw a dead 4 in. baby skunk on Rt. 10 near Symondsville Rd. in Marlow, NH.

Saw a dead gray squirrel on Rt. 10 near Vessel Rock Rd. in Gilsum, NH.

I saw 2 pigeons at Cheshire Memorial Hospital in Keene, NH.

I saw a robin in downtown Gilsum, NH.

1 robin was in grass north of Marlow-Gilsum, NH line

I saw a male merganser in the river north of the Marlow/Gilsum, NH line.

I saw 2 mourning doves in the marsh at 7:30 PM.

I saw 2 mourning doves in the marsh at 7:30 AM.

I saw 2 mourning doves in the marsh at 7:30 AM.

I saw 4 mergansers, probably mating as there were 2 males and 2 females.

I saw a great blue heron flying south over the river at 11:45 AM.

I saw 4 geese near heron rock in the middle of the Asheulot River. 2 were preening and 2 were honking at 11:45 AM.

I saw two robins across from the marsh on a grassy yard at 11:30 AM.

Saw a turkey vulture circling above the Centre Mall of Keene, NH at 10 AM. It was odd seeing it right downtown even though there are many turkey vultures around here in the country.

I saw a broad-winged hawk flying over the highway, probably looking for road kill.

I saw a broad winged hawk flying over a marsh with a mallard swimming down below.

I saw a male mallard swimming in the river near a marshy area.

Saw a dead beaver in the road on Bingham Hill in Gilsum, NH. I thought it was a woodchuck until I saw the tail. It seemed an odd place for a beaver to be.

Saw 8 mergansers feeding in the cove, 7 males and 1 female.

2 male and 1 female mergansers were swimming on the Asheulot River.

1 turkey vulture circling over river.

The heron was flying south down the Asheulot River.

1 pair of Canada Geese were swimming.

5 males and 4 females swimming around.

3 Males and 1 Female swimming around.
