there were 2 -one on it's back and curved in a half circle, the second one was right side up, curved but completing the circle but what looked like it was biting the other one's neck. i wasn't sure if they were both dead, but i touched the little outstretched spread toes and i thought it moved a little. it was a rather frightening vision and i didn't take a photo and had a dog on a leash that was becoming curious. i checked the next morning and there was nothing....not a sign of anything but the cement driveway. what were they doing?

tide was quite low and saw 4 healthy looking seastars on the
rocks - 3 were small and one was medium size.
they were not together.
