This quail chick as found on the Goodman Homestead. It's large and small intestines were out of it's body, and it had only been dead for about 2 minutes. It's age was around 3 weeks, and it was 9 cm when straightened.

This dragonfly was found in the reedy grass near Pepperwood preserve's turtle pond. We picked it up and took some pictures with the macro lense from multiple angles, and noticed that its eyes (from bottom to top) go from black, to white, to brown.
