Big, bright metallic flying beetle with a bright yellow "vest" (stylish!) and long, black, segmented antennae. For scale, it is perched on a full-sized maple leaf. I did a quick search online, and couldn't pinpoint it, especially for a beetle found in Maine. Ideas?

Clusters of soft purple flowers. Long gray-green opposite leaves with that cool pinky mid-rib.
