Large deciduous trees with many thick, heavy limbs. Leaves grow off in shoots off of main branches higher up in the trees. Some type of bug seems to have infested these ones, as there is holes riddling many of the leaves. Bark is thick and ridge like vertically, inter winding with other ridges. Height approximately 12-18 meters, 8 in this area.

Approximately 5.5m tall, needles growing in groups of 2 all along outward branches. Needles sticky to touch. Bark on main trunk is smooth with small ridges encircling the trunk horizontally. Cones of various size seen all over branches. 4 in the area between the bus loop and PE building
