Description

Approx. 1cm caterpillar, white with black head. Found "tied" between to Mongolian Oak (Quercus mongolica) leaves on a tree outside the National Arboretum, by the Anacostia, in at least 90 degree F heat and moderate humidity.

Description

Approx. 2cm caterpillar; light green with brown/red horizontal stripes (around body) and white/yellow vertical stripes (from head to tail). Found on Mongolian Oak (Quercus mongolica) in at least 90 degree F weather, moderate humidity.
