Landed on my napkin - must have flown in when I opened the door

Not cultivated, just appeared & is really slow growing

This one looks like this all summer long and blooms only near frost and continues for a number of weeks after with tiny white daisies - the last food for bees and butterflies

The plant is sticky - this is the first time I've seen this in my yard

This was the biggest thistle I have ever seen - at least two feet across. Not flowering unfortunately (or fortunately for our safety)
