Missing LocationDescription
We observed this bird twice, two days apart. In both instances it was flying across our property being pursued by two mocking birds. We have seen other Black-Hawks down near the San Pedro river and south of Patagonia in the past but this is the first time I have seen one flying over our property!

Greater Roadrunner (Geococcyx californianus)Observer
paulrhirdDescription
This Roadrunner and its mate built a nest in an Osage Orange tree just to the north of my house. They have one baby that has fledged. They may have another on in the nest as I have seen them return to the nest even though the one little guy is in the yard. Besides catching the normal lizards and insects (like this hummingbird moth) I have observed them with two mice in the last three days!
