What

Bedriaga's Skink (Chalcides bedriagai)

Observer

peteturnbull

Date

April 17, 2014

Description

About 14cm long, in courtyard next to our home. Never seen anything like this on our land before. Moved with snake like propulsion. Seemed to be emerging from hibernation. If my ID is correct, this species is only found in Eastern Europe, so as far as I know, it's not known in Iberia.
