Silver Haired Bat - originally found on this window ledge around 8:30 a.m. Definitely alive. Brought back to a safe tree that same evening. Seemed to know exactly what to do when it realized it was next to a tree. Immediately latched on.

Eastern Red Bat - found on the sidewalk around 6pm after a passing thunderstorm. We brought it to a tree but would not latch on to a branch. Definitely still alive but unable to fly. This bat was eventually euthanized by animal control later that evening after falling off the tree/fence and on to the ground.
