Amazing little slug! Dendronotus albus and D. diversicolor are synonyms. Dendronotus albus was described by Frank MacFarland...this species has a white line down the center of its foot and can be variable in color.

This tiny sea anemone is sometimes called the moon glow anemone.
Often mistaken for one of the 'lemon dorids'. This salt and pepper species has an uneven mantle edge and is not as yellow.

Farallon Weed on the Farallon Islands February 2010. Background view to Marin from the Lighthouse. There is a Western Gull in the photo too. I am not sure how to tag/link to both taxa.
Red sea urchin in the intertidal at Fitzgerald. This species is usually found in the subtidal and is prized for its eggs..'uni'.
