Description

We saw a fox in our backyard, drinking water out of our pond. This fox did not look healthy, its back left leg was wounded and it tried not to use it. The wounded leg also had less fur. Its face had marks on it. I also thought it was unusual to see him in the middle of the day.

Description

Dog goes woof, cat goes meow.
Bird goes tweet, and mouse goes squeak.
Cow goes moo. Frog goes croak, and the elephant goes toot.
Ducks say quack and fish go blub, and the seal goes OW OW OW.
But there's one sound that no one knows...
WHAT DOES THE FOX SAY?

He said nothing but we saw him meandering about.

Description

While working at the Waisman center I noticed a coyote walking across the ice of the class of 1918 marsh, around 4:00PM. It was too far to see if was collared or had any ear tags. But I am 95% sure it was a coyote.

Description

I was out walking my dog at UW Research Park prairie, early morning. I believe we were the first ones out walking that morning. We saw the coyote near the southwest corner of the area. It was in the prairie then ran towards the clump of trees on the lot. I was close within 20 yards but did not see a collar or ear tags.
