Description

Apis cerana, or the Asiatic honey bee (or the eastern honey bee), is a species of honey bee found in southern and southeastern Asia, such as China, Pakistan, India, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Nepal, Bangladesh, Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands. This species is the sister species of Apis koschevnikovi, and both are in the same subgenus as the western (European) honey bee.

Generally the found under the tall buildings and some neem trees nearby water body and greenery.

Description

I found this daily sitting outside the tree hole (home) on the nearby branch in the morning time. Its very Hot summer in our city in May June. Temperature goes up to 46 degree Centigrade, and thats why This owlet comes out early morning till 11am to take cool morning breez and goes inside the hole rest of the day till its dark.
