Observations by sibesc

Observed on the bank of a pond in an area disturbed by beavers. Found growing on rotting stumps and logs.

Observed multiple birch trees in the area. All had grown tall and leaned with odd curves in their trunks. Bark was pealing off in curled sheets.

Tiny waxy leaves cover the forest floor. Some with small red berry.

Also known as Queen Anne's lace. Observed in its maturity.
