What
Silver-haired Bat (Lasionycteris noctivagans)Observer
sydneyludwickDescription
This is Barry the bat! Barry has been living here for a while. He was alone, snoozing behind some recycling bins while clinging to the wall. His fur is black with silver/yellow tips - making it apparent that he was a silver-haired bat. He was also very small! If you go visit him, please be quiet and don't tell too many people.

What
Common Raccoon (Procyon lotor)Observer
sydneyludwickDescription
Tracks were in the entire area of Western Colorado Wildlife. The raccoon made its away around the entire trail. The amount of tracks suggested that the tracks were made over a period of multiple nights or a group of raccoons made them.

There was an extensive amount of beaver damage to the trees in this area.
What
Placental Mammals (Infraclass Placentalia)Observer
sydneyludwickDescription
The track was rather small and had four digits. It had claws on it as well. There were multiple tracks in the area near right next to a running stream.
What
Domestic Dog (Canis familiaris)Observer
sydneyludwickDescription
The track was about as large at my hand. The image makes it look like there were claw marks, but there weren't. It looks as thought the track was three lobed, which makes believe it was a Mountain Lion.
The track was right next to the trail and heading in the direction of a small stream nearby.
Important Note: This was at Monument National Park, dogs are not allowed here.
What
Coyote (Canis latrans)Observer
sydneyludwickDescription
The fox started from a walk to a trot to a gallop. The gallop tracks started forming a c-shape
What
Mule Deer (Odocoileus hemionus)Observer

American Black Bear (Ursus americanus)Observer
sydneyludwickDescription
Possible black bear damage to a tree. However, there is some human damage to the tree as well.
What
Abert's Squirrel (Sciurus aberti)Observer
sydneyludwickDescription
The squirrel ran across the trail and down a hill. The squirrel then climbed to the top of the tree where it was eating.
Note:
The squirrel was rather dark and had some ear tuffs.
What
Mountain Cottontail (Sylvilagus nuttallii)Observer
sydneyludwickDescription
Multiple tracks were seen on a frozen river. The tracks were not spaced apart and they were in a straight line. This suggests that the rabbit was hopping to it's destination and not running from a predator.
