The organism was crawling over a bunch of leaves on a branch close to the ground next to a tree on the right of the paths. It was crawling towards the path and passed over the gap of the leaves with ease.

The organism was pregnant with eggs both inside and outside. The legs continued to move. The sample of water was taken from the same pond.

The specimen was accidentally crushed due to the microscope. However, the end of the tail continued to shift left and right. The water sample was taken from the nearby pond on May 20, 2016. It was found in the same sample of water as a birthing water flea.

This organism was seen beside the trail on the left. It was growing near small grasses, but mostly decaying leaves. It was found in front of a tree with moss next to it. It was a few feet away from the deforestation area.

Wolf's Milk (Lycogala epidendrum)Observer

The slime mold was found near the Black-and-yellow Lichen moth. It was found on a fallen branch away from the path. Ten paces ahead, the Lichen moth was found. No insects were found near the slime mold on the log. The log was slightly damp.

The organisms were found on wet, decaying deciduous tree logs. These were found inwards from the forest path on the left. Decaying leaves littered the ground around the rotting logs. Some were found on upright logs along the path.

Serrate Dark Fishfly (Nigronia serricornis)Observer

A large number appeared in the ferns closest to the creeks. The rain had stirred up a large number of insects and several individuals were fluttering around the paths. After one was spotted, I managed to catch another close by. A population of around eight or nine individuals were flying around close to the creek's edge.

Orange-patched Smoky Moth (Pyromorpha dimidiata)Observer

It was spotted on a leaf leaning into a pathway close to a deforestation area. One individual was spotted. Few vegetation was around the individual except for the leaf it resided on and a neighboring tree. Leaves covered the rest of the surround area with a few seedlings poking up. The moth remained still even when I steadied the leaf to take a picture.

Cinnamon Fern (Osmundastrum cinnamomeum)Observer

The fern was found multiple times along the paths. The first was found on a path horizontal to the lake on the right. A large section of these ferns were in a large clusters in a small, open area. Another sighting was near a recently deforested area close to the curve on Poplar Avenue. That sighting was in a small, sunken area on the left of the path.

Scarlet Waxy Cap (Hygrocybe coccinea)Observer

The Scarlet Waxy Cap was spotted on the edge of deciduous forest lines. It was found in grasses next to a gravel road on the left. Short grasses surrounded the fungus and a few decaying branches lay nearby.
