Found scurrying around in a snake trap along with three other lizards.

Found it munching on plants in the grass. Very fuzzy and brightly colored

Found it scurrying across a dirt trail. Can actually move pretty fast.

Heard one calling along the shore of the lake. I got within one meter before it stopped calling for good at 2 am. Was not able to find the individual after it stopped calling.

Large groups of frogs were calling along the banks of the river. Call index = 3. Temperature = 85F

Found sitting along the edge of a pond. Very muddy area as the water level was quite low due to lack of rain. Did not hear them calling.

Was seen basking on top of a dead mesquite tree.

Found inside a snake trap along with another consobrinus and an Aspidoscelis sexlineata.

Was moving pretty quickly through the grass alongside the road.

Found under rock about .5 miles down the trail from where I saw the other two gracilis.

Resting on a fallen tree branch. A good 5 inches in length.

Found two under a rock about 5 meters from where I found the skink. Were quick to try to bury underground.

Had been swimming at the edge of the water by the bank. Total length = 818 mm Tail length = 131mm

It was in the water right at the edge of a bank. About 3 feet long and remained still when I shined my light on it.

Seemed to be sleeping at the bottom of a creek bed. It was tucked away in its shell.

Had been calling and was sitting on a plant in the water about 10 meters from the tree line. The call index was about 3 for this species. Will add picture.

Had been on the ground by some carpet and then scurried onto a tree. About 25 yds. from a dirt road.

Found in the grass at the edge of a clearing in a marshy habitat. Had been calling.

Found under a pile of stuffing that was possibly once part of a mattress. Its tail came off in the process of being caught.

Found under a tin pile about 10 m from a dirt path. Another larger adult was also found under the same tin pile.

Found it crossing a sidewalk in west campus next to an apartment complex.
