We have observed a small group of Deer that have been living in Temescal Cyn for the past 11 years. Feeding on the plants and flowers in the Canyon and neighboring yards. There is a spring in the Cyn that supplies them with plenty of water year around. A 6 point Buck from the Cyn made the news on June 25 2008 after getting rope from a construction site entangled in his antlers he went crazy running down Temescal Cyn across the PCH in heavy traffic and right into the Pacific Ocean. Baywatch boat hearded him back to the shore were Dept Fish and Game shot him saying his injuries were to severe to be helped. NOT!!!
