Description

Haven't looked this up yet in the 2012 Flora of Montana by Pete Lesica, my copy of Lesica's 2000 Flora of Glacier National Park is missing in a pile or bin somewhere. However it is a very small fruited Vaccinium a bit lower in elevation than Vaccinium scoparium with larger leaves and bluer berries though some of the berries had dried out a bit, some of them still hadn't wrinkled so the small size was probably pretty accurate. I have some vague recollection of this species but can't recall the taxon. So will try to remember to look it up soon if my fellow inaturalist folk don't beat me to it!
