I reside in Palm Beach County here in Southeast Florida, what seems like the capital of HOT and development. There are enough natural areas around, including in Martin County to the north, that keep interested and many I have yet to visit. I am a veteran. I have been in Florida since 1986. I am married. My wife loves butterflies, just not where they live. I am a weekend hiker (work F/T) out looking for animals in natural areas. I have my favorite places that I do my best to get back to every so often, but the good news is there are so many preserves, parks, and natural areas I have yet to visit. Going to a new place always heightens my sense of adventure. I most enjoy seeing how many animal species I can photograph at a place and also helping get a new place on the map.
