I'm a third grade teacher in the Baltimore area and a 2016 National Geographic/Lindblad Expeditions Grosvenor Teacher Fellow, sent up to Svalbard, Greenland, and Iceland this past summer for professional development in geography. Have always loved nature but am amazed by the diversity of the Arctic flora and fauna and interested in helping my students contrast with the Chesapeake Bay area.
