I'm an all around naturalist with particular love of slime molds, ethnobotany and an interest in temperate rainforest habitat.

I'm a photographer of over 20 years. I often work in extreme macro and push the limits of optics. But most of my ID pics are terrible phone pictures mid-walk!

Nearly all my iNat observations pictures are with my Pixel 6 Pro or 8 Pro, but if you see more formal pictures they're done with a Canon R6 + RF 100mm f/2.8L macro lens. More information on my extreme macro technique on my Instagram.
