Description

We were on a Nature Kenya Wednesday morning Bird Walk at Rosslyn Lone Tree Estate, just past Runda. We noticed a group of about 5 black and white colobus monkeys jumping through some nearby trees. It was very surprising to see them there as they seem out of their range. Some speculation is that they may be from the group that was introduced to Karura forest about a year ago but some of the area's residents say they have been seeing them for years. Anyone know whether their natural range really extends into Nairobi? I personally did not know that they occur in the Nairobi area.
