Botteri's Sparrow

I spent much of the first 6 months of 2000 on a ranch in Kenedy Co., Texas. Botteri's Sparrows were very common there and I heard them in good numbers daily. These are just a few shots of hundreds I took. Tape recordings of these birds are at the Mcauly Bird Sounds Library at Cornell where I donated all my bird recordings a few years ago.
