8 April 2015: Observed a White-eyed Vireo (Vireo griseus) on the Rookery Trail at the Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center (CCNHC) in Denton, Texas. Heard it singing in the vicinity of a red cedar so we stopped for a few minutes in the hope that it might reappear and it did. It perched on an adjacent redbud tree that was in full bloom given the season.
