Araneus gemmoides, Cat-faced Orb Weaver, found in a tight crevice in a limestone fissure in the Palo Pinto Mountains State Park. According to friends who know this species from Colorado, this might be the first of this species known to be in Texas. Bug Guide does not show a site in Texas.
