Italian Wall Lizard (Podarcis siculus)

Description

"So, I actually found a Podarcis that sat still for me. When I first watched it, it was chewing on the soft, internal portion of an overripe fig (yes, taking bites out of the fig). Since my mobile phone is not yet an appendage on my body, I had to go find a camera. The lizard was now sitting on a rock next to the downed fig (picture #1). I have included some measurements of a brick and rock that appear in the picture so that you may estimate s-v length. Picture #2 is the same individual."
