Description

A Tiger moth with transparent oval shapes on it's wings that distinguishes it from other moths.
The body is greyish brown in color. Black spots found on it's thorax.
Red legs and part of it's abdomen.
Can be mistaken as the commoner Amerila astreus that is also found in Borneo.

Name: Lepidoptera > Arctiidae > Amerila omissa
Size: about 25mm (body length)
Location: Aristo inn, Kundasang, Sabah.
