I'm actually not sure if I have the family correct, but it looks like it could be this. Specimen look similar to other species in the genus Pachodynerus; however, I did not find a picture of anything like this on Bugguide under the genus. It's a beautiful wasp, and one that I have never before seen at this location, and any help in identifying it would be much appreciated. Low 80sF, mostly overcast.
