Male Ceriagrion auranticum ryukyuanum
A bunch of these little ones were hanging out in a marshy area. Also filled with Trithemis aurora and Neurothemis sp., two other extremely "exotic-looking" dragonflies to us Westerners.
The area we were at was really amazing--it was a marshy swampish pond with small wooden walkways tracing through it so you could essentially walk through the marsh and see microhabitats you'd only otherwise see by actually being immersed in the pond.
