This is one of only 3 places in the world to see wild Critically Endangered Bali Mynas (the others being West Bali National Park and Nasu Penida). 6 pairs from a captive population here at the Green School were released and most of that cohort (like this one) still hang around the Green School near the breeding facility. Apparently these are more endangered by persecution by people (as pets and medicine) than by habitat loss, so hopefully the protection the Green School habitat affords them will compensate for the pretty degraded habitat.
