A Goby from Potter Pond. I often find them hiding in bottles and cans. There are only two Goby species in this area, the Naked Goby (Gobiosoma bosc) and the Seaboard Goby (Gobiosoma ginsburgi). I originally thought this was G. bosc since it is more common and the habitat is better (relatively shallow estuary (somewhat brackish) in shell bed surrounded by eelgrass. However, the patterning seems better for G. ginsburgi, although they typically prefer deeper water.
